Sheppard Pratt Health System
Sheppard Pratt, a non-profit health system, is dedicated to the improvement of quality of life in our community by providing mental health, special education, and substance abuse services. We offer a full range of treatment options in 38 locations throughout 12 Maryland jurisdictions to meet the needs of children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
Whether accessing care for yourself or a loved one, choosing a provider is an extremely important decision. Our patient-centered treatment approach, combined with our legacy of clinical excellence, is what truly sets us apart from other health systems, on both a local and national level.
Because we are a free-standing system focused solely on mental health treatment, healing, and recovery, we are able to provide our patients with the specialized care they need in a supportive and compassionate environment. Through our own programs and services, as well as our affiliate and partner relationships, we strive to provide our patients with a continuum of care that can include inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient referrals, and housing and rehabilitation services, as needed.
