  • Where is the Neuropsychiatry Program located?

    • The Neuropsychiatry Program is located in the Gibson Building on the main campus of Sheppard Pratt Health System, which is located at 6501 N. Charles Street, Towson, MD 21204. Our physical address is:

      Sheppard Pratt is inside the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) off of Exit 25, Charles Street. Proceed right on the ramp, traveling south on Charles St. for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left at the median and Gatehouse, which mark the entrance to Sheppard Pratt. Continue on Gatehouse Drive to the second stop sign, turning left on Friends Lane. The Gibson Building will be just ahead of you. Follow the signs for parking; the Neuropsychiatry Program is located on the first floor.

      For handicap accessibility, park in the rear of the building, enter through the sliding glass doors, and proceed past the receptionist desk toward the elevators on the left. Take the elevator up to the 1st floor and make a right.

  • How do I obtain medical records?

    • Medical records may be sent from our office to another physician at no cost to the patient. Completed forms may be returned at the front desk or faxed to 410-938-5310.

    • If you are obtaining medical records for your personal use, there is a $25.00 processing fee plus $0.50/pg. All payment must be in the form of cash or check, and must be received prior to release of records.

    • If you wish to have medical records sent to our office from another physician’s office, you may complete an authorization and have the records faxed to 410-938-5310.

    • Any inpatient or day hospital records must be requested through Health Information Management at 410-938-4219.

    • Please allow 5-10 business days to complete records requests.

  • What are my rights and responsibilities as a patient?

    • Patient rights and responsibilities can be found on pages 7-8 of the Patient Handbook: Guide to Outpatient Services given as a part of the new patient paperwork. 

      You can request a copy of the handbook be given to you at the office.

  • What happens if I can’t make my appointment?

    • Please note, the Neuropsychiatry Program requires at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep your appointment. Any visit not cancelled within 24 hours notice will be considered a no-show, and multiple no-shows can result in a missed-visit fee and/or discharge from the program.

  • Can I do volunteer work or apply for an internship at Sheppard Pratt?

    • Yes! Sheppard Pratt has a wide range of opportunities for volunteers, including positions working with patients in a variety of settings, as well as positions in administrative support areas. Supervised, unpaid student internships are available as well.
