Susannah Dowling, MSN, MACP, RN, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the Autism Center and Neuropsychiatry Program at Sheppard Pratt’s hospital in Towson, MD. Prior to joining Sheppard Pratt, Dowling practiced as a child and adolescent psychiatric nurse practitioner at community mental health clinics in the southeast as well as at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. She was also a member of the Faculty at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing where she served as a Clinical Instructor and Lecturer for the MSN and PMHNP programs. She earned her PMHNP at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, received her BS in Nursing at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, her MA in Counseling Psychology at University of North Florida, and earned a BA in English at The University of the South; Sewanee. Dowling is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, Iota & Nu Beta Chapters.
