We are committed to training the next generation of child psychologists. Predoctoral psychology externs and psychology associates may participate in the evaluation and treatment of children and families seen in our clinic. All trainees function under the direct supervision of licensed psychologists who maintain clinical and ethical responsibility. Supervision is structured and integrated into all aspects of care. Families are informed when a trainee participates in their child's care and will have opportunities to ask questions. The involvement of supervised trainees does not diminish the quality or rigor of services provided; rather, it reflects our commitment to excellence, accountability, and the advancement of evidence-based practice in clinical child psychology.
