Sometimes the hardest part of parenting is not knowing what to do in the moment. If you are exhausted by power struggles, second-guessing your responses, or feeling like nothing is working, parent coaching can help.
Our parent coaching services are designed for caregivers who want practical, evidence-based strategies to improve child behavior, strengthen communication, and feel more confident at home. We offer parent coaching for:
- Childhood anxiety
- Children with disruptive, defiant, and aggressive behavior
- Developmental achievement (sleep, feeding, toileting, regulation)
- Any combination of the above
- Other issues
Parent coaching focuses on teaching skills you can use right away. Sessions, which are personalized, may cover how to connect through play, create structure and set fair limits, respond to misbehavior, use reinforcement effectively, and build routines that support better behavior and emotion regulation. Parent coaching may offer a more personalized alternative to a group format.
When parent coaching can help
Many parents seek coaching when behavior problems are escalating, discipline feels inconsistent, transitions are hard, or they are simply worn down from trying everything they know. It can be especially helpful when families want direct guidance without waiting for problems to grow bigger.
What to expect from parent coaching
Parent coaching is available virtually or in-person and can be tailored to your family’s needs. Some families participate for a shorter period focused on a specific issue, while others continue longer for more comprehensive education, practice, and support. The strategies are designed to be practical, realistic, and highly effective.
Skills parents may learn
- How to communicate more effectively with your child
- How to gain authority at home and become a good anchor for your children
- How to set limits and follow through with more confidence
- Which behaviors to address directly and which to ignore
- How to use reinforcers and consequences more effectively
- How to elicit positive behavior without constant conflict
Pricing and payment
