Sheppard Pratt has launched innovative research to improve clinical care by helping clinicians make the best possible decisions about patient treatment. Results in the first year of research in 12 clinics are remarkably promising.
Our approach: develop easy-to-use tools to collect patient-reported outcomes on tablet computers at the point of care. Data are then aggregated in real time and transmitted to physicians to inform treatment decisions and program efficacy. With private support, we will scale this ground-breaking work, improving the lives not only of our patients, but also those around the world through dissemination of knowledge. Philanthropy will expand our research team, increasing our capacity to develop, test, prove and implement novel solutions.
