Jenny Lazzaro, LCSW-C, is a clinical social worker at The Retreat by Sheppard Pratt. She earned a bachelor’s degree in counseling from Lesley University, followed by a Master of Social Work from Simmons University. Before coming to Sheppard Pratt, Lazzaro worked as a social worker at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital; Steward Home Care, Hospice, and Private Care; and Gilchrist. She has also used her training in social work to volunteer extensively, including for Samaritans, Inc.; Melrose Alliance Against Violence; and Days End Farm Horse Rescue. Lazzaro has presented research on topics including end of life care and ethics for social work counselors.
