Volunteer/Internship Information

Our volunteers and interns are vital and dedicated members of the Sheppard Pratt Health System team, and are provided with an opportunity to work alongside our doctors, nurses, teachers, clinicians, and other professionals.

We offer unpaid volunteer and internship experiences in a variety of areas of the health system, including our inpatient units, our day hospitals, data management, our schools, our gift and resale shops, and clerical support areas. We will work with your interests and availability to find the best placement for you. Candidates must successfully complete a two-stage interview process, orientation to the Health System, tuberculosis testing, and receive a flu vaccination.
