How long is The Retreat’s program? What does it include?

The minimum length of stay at The Retreat is 20 days; many stay with us for longer, and we welcome you to continue your stay as long as you need. The Retreat’s program includes everything you need to heal: individual therapy, group sessions, medication management, holistic interventions, and more—all customized to meet your unique needs.

 

What happens after a stay at The Retreat?

When you’re ready to discharge from The Retreat, we offer a variety of options to continue supporting you on your journey to better health and well-being. Many residents at The Retreat choose to continue their care at one of our step-down homes, Magnolia House and Ruxton House. When staying at Magnolia House or Ruxton House, you have the opportunity to begin re-integrating into the community while maintaining the support of your dedicated care team. For residents who choose to return home, we partner with your care providers at home to ensure you have the treatment in place to continue the progress you’ve made while at The Retreat. Every resident receives a detailed aftercare plan to ensure continuity and long-term success.

 

Will my family be involved in my treatment?

Yes. When appropriate, we will involve your family in your care. We offer family therapy sessions and psychoeducation for your family members to support your healing and to create a strong foundation for recovery.
