Melissa Mondich, LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience. Melissa has worked with individuals and families in a variety of settings and services, including in-home therapy, community and office-based services, and residential treatment. Melissa utilizes a strengths-based approach and specializes in supporting individuals dealing with trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, attachment issues, divorce, faith/spiritual beliefs, and identity issues. Encouraging and assisting others with effectively utilizing coping skills, establishing healthy boundaries and relationships, enhancing communication skills, and promoting hope for the future are significant components included in her work. Melissa earned her master's degree in social work at Appalachian State University. She is a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist as well as a Trauma Healing Group Facilitator through the Trauma Healing Institute. Melissa is passionate about partnering with individuals and families in the therapeutic process to promote healing and growth in order for them to achieve a more wholesome well-being.
