“I feel that I gained something from every aspect of the program, and it helped me form a new foundation for my life going forward. The care and compassion of everyone who works here has touched me deeply.”

We understand that mental health disorders don’t come neatly packaged with remedies. Some are treatment resistant. Some can lead to new disorders and dangerous behaviors.

We understand that mental health conditions are complex and require a personalized approach. That’s why we believe a holistic assessment is needed to diagnose and treat a problem.

Providing personal and professional solutions

At The Retreat, we help adults successfully cope with professional conflicts, career stress and burnout, interpersonal relationships, and co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders. With just 16 individual suites, the dedicated support of 10 doctors and more than 60 staff, and the resources of the entire Sheppard Pratt Health System we are able to provide the exact level of care that each resident needs to heal.
