Behavioral Health Partners of Frederick, Inc. (BHP) is a joint venture between Sheppard Pratt Health System and Frederick Regional Health System that offers comprehensive outpatient mental health services at three convenient clinics located in Frederick County, as well as off-site counseling in Frederick, Montgomery, and Washington Counties. The staff consists of licensed social workers, counselors, and board certified psychiatrists who treat children, adolescents, adults, and seniors with a wide range of mental health conditions.

What is Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)?

MBSR is an intensive psycho-educational program developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School to help relieve pain, manage anxiety, cope with illness, improve sleep, sharpen attention, increase productivity, and enhance well-being and peace in daily life. Learn more about our training here
