At Sheppard Pratt’s Center for Autism, we provide comprehensive, self pay autism diagnostic and subsequent case management services.
Diagnostic Testing
If you suspect that your child or loved one is experiencing autism spectrum disorder, it can be helpful to receive a formal diagnosis from a team of experts to help facilitate further care and resources. At Sheppard Pratt, our team of clinicians has been diagnosing and working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder for decades.
We offer a comprehensive, multi-day diagnostic process. If after we complete our series of diagnostic tests and find that your child or loved one meets the criteria for autism spectrum disorder, we will begin to work with you on a comprehensive care plan. Our diagnostic process includes case management to help you access the supports and services needed to thrive.
Paying for Services
The fee for our comprehensive evaluation is $5,000, due upon registration.
Sheppard Pratt’s Center for Autism is a private pay program, meaning we do not participate with insurance. If you have out-of-network mental health coverage through your health insurance, call them to find out more about coverage. It may be possible to get a percentage of your fees reimbursed. Our team can provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance.
