What services do you offer?
We offer the following services:
Outpatient Care: medically supervised outpatient detoxification; individual, family and group therapy; and on-site Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
Alcohol Education Program: 12-week and 26-week drug and alcohol education programs, which meet requirements set by the Maryland court system
Intensive Outpatient Program: a more intensive form of outpatient care services; additional hours of treatment and group therapy
Opioid Treatment Program: trained addiction medicine physicians provide methadone and buprenorphine dispensing services to help ease discomfort and transition to recovery; group and individual therapy
Medication Assisted Treatments (MAT): for alcohol and opiate use disorders
How do I know if I qualify?
Give us a call. We will schedule an assessment to determine your individual needs. At the conclusion of the assessment, we will let you know what specific treatment services we believe would best serve you.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we accept Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurances. All other insurances are considered out of network
How quickly can I be seen? Is there a waitlist?
We strive to see clients same day or next day. Once you have signed the initial consent forms, we will begin your treatment as quickly as possible. We do not hold a waitlist.
Do you treat adolescents?
No, we do not treat anyone under the age of 18.
Do you treat dual diagnosis?
Yes. We believe that the best and most sustainable results come from treating dual diagnosis conditions simultaneously. We have access to the full continuum of care that Sheppard Pratt offers. From psychiatric service and supported employment, to veterans’ services and case management, we offer access to coordinated treatment that spans the spectrum of clients’ needs.
What if I have a work conflict with group times?
It is important for patients to attend group regularly. Therefore, we offer group meetings throughout the day and in the early evening. It is our hope that this flexibility will provide a suitable time for every schedule.
