Roger Packard

Administrative Fellow, ’25-’26

Roger Packard, MHA, MBA joined Sheppard Pratt as an administrative fellow following his graduation from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with his master’s in healthcare administration (MHA) and master’s in business administration (MBA). He brings a valuable clinical perspective to his role, having previously served as a physical therapist assistant in both skilled nursing and home health settings in the greater Houston area. Through his direct patient care experience, Roger observed that many individuals lacked the necessary resources to address their mental health needs alongside their physical recovery, which inspired him to pursue a career in healthcare leadership to advocate for parity between the physical and mental aspects of patient well-being. As an administrative fellow, Roger leverages his clinical background to remain anchored in the patient and clinician perspective as he develops into a healthcare leader. His primary interests include fostering high reliability and operational excellence, contributing to strategic growth, and improving patient access to care. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, listening to audiobooks, and learning about the latest technological innovations.
