Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Myrlande Daguindeau, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Sheppard Pratt’s Psychiatric Urgent Care in Towson, Maryland, where she provides level-of-care assessments to help individuals access the mental healthcare they need. 

Prior to her role in Psychiatric Urgent Care, Daguindeau served as a charge nurse on Sheppard Pratt Adolescent inpatient units. She also gained experience working in behavioral healthcare at The Arc of Montgomery County, serving as Director of Nursing for Sunrise Assisted Living/Alzheimer Unit, and as Director of Nursing for Atrium Village Assisted Living/Alzheimer Unit. Daguindeau’s prior nursing experience also includes roles at Harbor Hospital, Bon Secours, and Riderwood Village, among others. 

Daguindeau earned her BSN at University of Maryland School of Nursing and MS in counseling psychology at Bowie State University; she completed her PMHNP program at Walden University and will obtain her Doctoral in Nursing Practice in August 2026.
