Michael R. Abbatiello, MPPM, CPA, FACHE is the Vice President of Behavioral Health at St Mary’s Health System and the Executive Director of Behavioral Health at Covenant Health System.
Abbatiello has a proven track record of driving transformational and sustainable change, has developed a reputation as a team influencer, a trusted healthcare professional, and has an extraordinary acumen in pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
Abbatiello has over thirty years of health care experience, and has spent the last two decades as a Senior Vice President of Operations, and/or, Chief Financial Officer for Sweetser, Counseling Services Inc., and Maine Behavioral Healthcare.
Abbatiello is a Certified Public Accountant, and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Organizational Management from the Muskie School of Public Service, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Long Island University.
