Dr. Ehsan U. Syed is a Child Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Services at Sheppard Pratt. Prior to joining Sheppard Pratt, Dr. Syed served as the associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Milton S Hershey Medical Center at Penn State College of Medicine. He was also the medical director of child and adolescent psychiatric services at Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute, Harrisburg, PA.

Dr. Syed completed his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD, and completed his residency in psychiatry at the Delaware Psychiatric Center, Newcastle, DE. He earned his MBBS at Dow Medical College in Pakistan. Dr. Syed is a founding member of the AACAP’s political action committee (PAC). Dr. Syed is board certified in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
