Dr. Deval Zaveri is the medical director of GBMC's Emergency Psychiatry program, director of Sheppard Pratt’s Women’s Mental Health Program, and working as an ECT specialist in the department of neuromodulation. Prior to joining Sheppard Pratt, Dr. Zaveri served as the Medical Director for Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Services at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Zaveri completed her residency at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and received her MBBS at Nashik University in Mumbai, India. Dr. Zaveri currently serves as president of the Brooklyn Psychiatric Society and is board certified in psychiatry and neurology.
