Alexandria Barankina, LCSW-C, is a social worker at The Retreat by Sheppard Pratt. She earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and social work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County, followed by a master’s in social work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County School of Social Work. Barankina began her career doing social service admissions at the Jewish Convalescent and Nursing Home before coming to Sheppard Pratt for the first time as a psycho-geriatric social worker. From there she continued to serve as a social worker at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital and then director of social work at Keswick Multi-Care Center. Barankina spent the past ten years as economic advancement manager for Jewish Community Services.
