Alex Thorp, MHA is an Associate Consultant at Sheppard Pratt Solutions, formerly serving as the Administrative Fellow at Sheppard Pratt. In her current role, she focuses on improving system operations, assessing regional markets, and analyzing patient populations for improvement opportunities. Alex enjoys working with clients across the nation and assisting them in delivering high-quality behavioral healthcare. Coming from a rural state where behavioral health was not often discussed and obtaining mental health services was challenging, Alex's passions involve improving access and destigmatizing behavioral health. Alex graduated from the University of Iowa with her master’s in health administration. She also holds her bachelor’s degree in psychology and human Resources from Simpson College. She currently resides in Baltimore with her fiancé, 3 cats, and tortoise – she is definitely an animal lover! In her free time, Alex enjoys exploring historical areas, trying new wineries and breweries, and laying on the beach reading a good book.
