Abigail Sojka, MHA served as Director of Planning & Strategy Execution at Sheppard Pratt following the completion of her Administrative Fellowship in 2025. In that role, she was responsible for facilitating the development, execution, and monitoring of the health system’s annual, strategic, and business plans, helping advance organizational priorities across the enterprise. In June 2026, Abbie joined MedStar Health as Senior Director of Primary Care where she oversees operations supporting primary care clinics across Maryland. Drawing on her experience in strategic planning, healthcare operations, and performance improvement, she focuses on strengthening ambulatory care operations and improving access to high-quality care for patients throughout the region.
Abbie earned her Master of Healthcare Administration from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to pursuing a career in healthcare leadership, she graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Journalism in 2016 and spent the first seven years of her career working across sales, marketing, revenue management, and consulting before discovering her passion for healthcare. Originally from Indiana, Abbie has lived in Chicago, Rhode Island, and Baltimore. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the city and region with her husband, two children, and dog.
