The Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) is an agency of the Maryland State Department of Education. DORS is composed of the public vocational rehabilitation program and the Disability Determination Services (DDS). DORS offers programs and services to help people with disabilities work. DORS begins working with individuals while they are in high school to identify services necessary for successful transition into the workforce or into post-secondary education. DORS also contracts with community rehabilitation providers (CRPs) to provide individuals with vocational services.
