What is the Imagine Event?
The Imagine Event is Sheppard Pratt’s premier annual fundraising event being held on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Join Norah O’Donnell, anchor of the CBS Evening News, and 250 Sheppard Pratt supporters, benefactors, business partners, organizational leaders, staff, families, and other stakeholders for an evening to benefit and address the youth mental health crisis. Guests ages 21 and over will enjoy a night to remember with music, delicious food, a live auction, and dancing.
Why we need your support.
Sheppard Pratt is the nation’s largest private, nonprofit provider of behavioral health, substance use, special education, developmental disability, and social services. With more than 400 licensed inpatient beds, 160 programs, and 380 sites of service, Sheppard Pratt cares for people throughout—and beyond—Maryland.
As you hear in the news and are experiencing in your own families, our nation’s youth are in a mental health crisis like no other that we have ever seen. Sheppard Pratt is launching a campaign focused on life-saving mental health care that children and adolescents urgently need. Philanthropic funds will enable a comprehensive approach to youth behavioral healthcare in Maryland. And it will do so by focusing on youth who need complex interventions to re-instill hope and achieve a sense of stability—those children who are most at-risk for suicide, aggression, and adverse outcomes.
How your support helps.
Sheppard Pratt wants to build the nation’s premiere children’s mental health hospital on its historic Towson Campus. This will vastly improve access to life-saving mental healthcare for children in crisis and attract and retain more experts to Sheppard Pratt. From the moment children and their families enter the hospital, they will be welcomed into a warm and inviting space, designed specifically for youth.
Sheppard Pratt’s international reputation, and the visionary new hospital, will enable us to recruit additional brilliant doctors, nurses, social workers, and other vital staff from across the country.
We invite you to sponsor The Imagine Event in support of Sheppard Pratt’s vital mission impact. To discuss our sponsorship levels, associated benefits, and recognition opportunities, please contact Anneliese Van Arsdale, Director of Corporate Giving, at 443-613-6972 or imagine@sheppardpratt.org.
