Catatonia is under-recognized in general practice and better recognition will afford more access and earlier availability of treatments which are generally effective and prevent serious complications from severe and persistent forms of catatonia. This presentation is designed to improve recognition of catatonia generally and highlight its occurrence in neuro-developmental disorders and delirium.
