Patients begin participating in therapeutic groups on day one.  

Daily programming is led by experienced, multidisciplinary treatment team staff, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, an occupational therapist, and a discharge coordinator. 

Patients Participate In:

  • 6.5 hours of structured group therapy programming daily, including cognitive behavioral therapy

  • Meetings with the treating psychiatrist or nurse practitioner, social worker, and psychiatric nurses

  • Medication management and medication dispensing as necessary 

  • Social and communication skills training

  • Occupational therapy, including activity groups, cooking, or other life skills groups

  • Wellness, medication, substance abuse, stress management, and nutrition education

  • Smoking cessation education, including nicotine replacement therapy, as indicated

  • Psychoeducation for patients and their families/caregivers

  • Transportation (as needed) 

  • Lab work (as needed)
