Stephen Merz serves as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Sheppard Pratt. His executive healthcare leadership experience includes previous roles as President of Diamond Healthcare and President and CEO of Maine Behavioral Healthcare.
Merz earned his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and his Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. He completed a post-graduate administrative fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital. His professional affiliations include the American College of Healthcare Executives, ACHE Northern New England, and the University of Michigan Griffith Leadership Center Advisory Board, where he serves as chair.
