Dr. Leslie Kee is the education director for the Hannah More Type II Schools. Throughout her career, she has served as a teacher, researcher, central office staffer, and administrator in various locations across the state of Maryland. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park in Organizational Leadership. She has a passion for seeing students challenge themselves and make strides personally and academically. She enjoys being a part of the Hannah More Type II team.

Ms. Melissa Krohn is the coordinator for the Hannah More Type II programs at Millersville Elementary School, Severn River Middle School, and Severna Park High School. Ms. Krohn has a B.A. in Hearing and Speech Science, has a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, and is a certified secondary special educator. She has been working in the school setting for eight years. Ms. Krohn previously worked at a Baltimore City school serving students with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities.

Ms. Barrett has a B.A. in Business Administration, Human Resource Management and a M.A.T. in Secondary Mathematics. Ms. Barrett loves to use real world scenarios to show students how relevant math is to their every day lives. She enjoys dancing and spending time with her son. Ms. Barrett began as an educational assistant and is now a math and science teacher; she has been with Hannah More for five years.

 

Carolyn_Koller_0502s.jpgCarolyn Koller, Educational Assistant

Carolyn Koller is an educational assistant and co-teacher with the Hannah More School at Severna Park High School. In addition to these responsibilities, Carolyn is also a teacher for the evening middle school program (also located at Severna Park High School). She has worked with the Hannah More Staff Type II program at SPHS for 11 years. Carolyn has a BFA in Painting, Drawing and Sculpture, with an emphasis in Science (Biology) from CNR in New Rochelle, NY. She spent a portion of time in college studying abroad in Vienna, Austria. In her free time, Carolyn is a historic tour guide (on weekends and summers) in downtown Annapolis. Carolyn enjoys the Hannah More program because she loves learning from the students as much as she enjoys teaching them.

Sandy is an educational assistant at Hannah More School at Severna Park High School. She has worked for the Hannah More program for 12 years. She also serves as a senior advisor and helps run the after-school gaming club. Sandy is very passionate about working with the students in the Hannah More School program. She enjoys watching the students grow into young adults during their senior year.

Ms. Andrea Weathington is the clinician for the Hannah More program at Severna Park High School. Ms. Weathington holds a B.S. in Psychology from Towson University and a Master's Degree in Psychology from Loyola University in Maryland. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Ms. Weathington has been with the High School program since 2004, its second year in existence. Ms. Weathington has previously worked in residential treatment centers and with therapeutic foster care. She loves watching the growth of the students as they start as freshmen and mature into seniors.

Mrs. Gail Melton is an Educational Assistant at Severna Park High School. Mrs. Melton has previously worked at Severn River Middle School where she was an Educational Assistant for the past two years. Prior to her time at Severn River Middle School, she worked as an Educational Assistant at Millersville Elementary. Her interests include reading, gardening, and going to the beach. She greatly enjoys watching students progress from elementary to high school.

 

Delia_Soge.JPGDelia Shoge, Teacher

Delia Shoge is a teacher for the Hannah More School at Severna Park High School. This is her third year teaching. Shoge is inspired by her students’ growth and progress each year. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Elon University and is currently working toward a Masters in Special Education at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
