Everything about the Sheppard Pratt School in Lanham is designed with the needs of our students in mind, down to the smallest details. When the students walk in the doors, they are greeted by the smiling faces of our dedicated and experienced staff, warm colors, and sensory-engaging elements like bubble tubes and a 50-gallon fish tank. 

Our experienced, compassionate team of administrators, certified teachers, behavioral specialists, curriculum specialists, occupational and speech therapists, and trained assistants understand that every child deserves individualized instruction and support. Through our robust curriculum, we help students meet their educational goals and prepare them for life beyond the classroom.

Admissions

Most of our students are from Prince George’s County, but given our unique learning program, we have students travel to our school from neighboring Washington, D.C., Anne Arundel County, Charles County, and Northern Virginia. We currently have capacity for 72 students, and recently completed renovations for additional classrooms, an expanded occupational therapy room, and office space.  We look forward to seeing you soon!
