Summer stress? Sheppard Pratt is here to help.

Child and Adolescent Day Hospital

If you find that your child needs extra support for their mental health this summer, Sheppard Pratt has the resources and programs to help them thrive.

Sheppard Pratt offers a type of program called a day hospital, also known as a partial hospitalization program. The day hospital provides more intensive care than outpatient therapy but is not around-the-clock like inpatient treatment. Take a virtual tour of the child and adolescent day hospital.

Day hospitals provide a schedule that aligns with a typical school day, (Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.). On average, youth participate in day hospital for 2 – 3 weeks. Our programming includes group therapy, meetings with a clinician for medication (as needed), and ensuring youth have an effective treatment plan after they complete the program. Interested?
