Create a Group/Team (Watch “How to Create/Join Group” Video)

Create a Group/Team During Registration

Visit the race page and click “Sign Up” to begin the registration process. Enter all participant information and choose "Yes" under the question "Would You like to join a Group/Team." If applicable, select “Create New Group/Team” and choose a group/team type. Enter a group/team name and, if prompted, set a group/team gender, age group, or password. Click “Continue” to complete the process.

Create a Group/Team After Registration

Log into RunSignup using your registration account, go to your profile, and navigate to “Upcoming Events > Manage Registration”. Click on the “Group/Team” menu item, then select "Create New Group/Team." Choose a group/team type, enter a name, and provide optional details. Click “Continue” to finalize.

Invite Friends to Your Group/Team

Access your RunSignup profile, select your team, and under the “Join & Share” section, find the "Invite Friends" option to customize invitations.

Join a Group/Team During Registration

Navigate to the race page, click “Sign Up”, and enter participant information. Select "Yes" for "Would you like to join a Team?" Continue, choose the group/team, and enter the password if required. Proceed through registration.

Join a Group/Team After Registration

Sign in to RunSignup, go to your profile, and navigate to “Upcoming Events”. Click “Manage Registration”, then click “Group/Team” on the left-hand sidebar. Select “Join Existing Group/Team”, choose a group/team or search for one, and click “Continue”.

Note: Registering multiple people together automatically assigns them to the same team.

Create a Fundraiser/Fundraising Teams (Watch “How to Create/Join Fundraising Team” Video):

Note: Fundraising Teams are not groups of participants. If you would like to associate your fundraiser with a new or existing fundraising team, then you will have the opportunity to create and/or join one during the registration process, after the registration process, or without registering for a race at all.

Create a Fundraiser During Registration:

Select “Sign Up”, enter participant details, and click “Continue”. Opt to “Become a Fundraiser”, name it, set a goal, and add a message. Create a fundraising team with a name, goal, and message. Choose donation levels and beneficiary. Click “Continue” to finish registration.

Create a Fundraiser Outside of Registration:

Sign in to RunSignup, go to your profile, and click “My Registered Races”. Manage your registration, click “Fundraiser” in the top menu, and start the process.

Note: Customize fundraising team page URL in Profile > My Fundraisers > Edit Fundraiser.
