The Forbush School at Oakmont Upper School is small in size and population, but nothing else about us is small. Everything we do, we do big. We have big hearts, big intentions, and big goals for our students. Like all schools that are part of the Sheppard Pratt Health System, when the students walk in the doors, they are greeted by the smiling faces of our dedicated and experienced staff, and that positive feeling continues throughout each day.
Our experienced, compassionate team, which includes an administrator, certified teachers, behavioral specialists, a vocational specialist, occupational and speech therapists, and trained assistants, understand that every child deserves individualized instruction and support. Through our robust curriculum, we help students meet their educational goals and prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
Our students and their families benefit from the structured daily routine that we offer at The Forbush School at Oakmont Upper. We distinguish ourselves by providing:

All of these services and activities are just a small part of the diverse programming offered at The Forbush School at Oakmont Upper School. As part of the Sheppard Pratt Health System, we have access to innovative training, technology, and therapies and bring all of that to our school.
