Dr. Adefolake Akinsanya is the service chief of the Adolescent Female Unit. She completed her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, where she served as chief fellow. Dr. Akinsanya completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University MetroHealth Program. She earned her MD at Windsor University School of Medicine. Dr. Akinsanya is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, and the Nigerian American Psychiatrists Association.
