Taraji P. Henson | Actor, Writer, Producer & Director

Taraji P. Henson is an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winning actress and producer known for films and shows such as Hidden Figures, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and the drama series Empire among others.

 

In 2016, she was named one of Time’s most influential people in the world and later that year published a New York Times best-selling autobiography.

 

A mental health advocate, Henson founded The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation in 2018 to change the perception of mental illness in the African-American community and encouraging them to get the help they need.

 

Henson is originally from Washington DC and currently resides in Chicago.
