At Sheppard Pratt, one of our core values is simple: to meet a need. Today, one of the most urgent needs we face is ensuring access to quality, timely mental health education. Providers are navigating a rapidly changing landscape marked by rising demand, increased complexity of patient needs, and growing shortages in the mental health workforce.

That’s why Sheppard Pratt offers all our continuing education (CE) courses for free.

Mental health professionals across all licensures and disciplines need up-to-date tools, knowledge, and strategies to respond to an evolving mental health landscape. Our Center for Professional Education is meeting this need by providing dozens of free learning opportunities each year. Whether they are earning CE credits or diving deep into the latest research, professionals can rely on us to lead the way.

In the past year alone, nearly 33,000 learners from all 50 states and 53 countries participated in our programs. We hosted 51 free live events and learning opportunities, and offered a library of 265 on-demand courses, accessible anytime, anywhere.

This work is more than a commitment to excellence—it’s a step toward mental health equity. By offering free and easy access to advancing knowledge and best practices across the profession, we are leading a movement to address the growing mental health crisis in our nation and beyond.
