Spring is a season of renewal - let's renew your mental health

As routines shift and expectations increase—at work, at home, and in daily life—many people experience heightened stress, anxiety, or renewed challenges. The pressure to keep up, make changes, or “feel better” can surface mental health concerns that deserve attention.

If outpatient therapy hasn’t been enough, new hope can take root this spring at Sheppard Pratt.

Spring is a season of renewal—and a meaningful time to focus on your mental health. Our day hospital program, also known as a partial hospitalization program, offers a supportive, structured environment for people who need compassionate, comprehensive care. Connect with us.

Whether you’re seeking help for anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, trauma, schizophrenia, or a substance use disorder, our experienced team is here to help you begin a path toward improved well-being this season and beyond.

Sheppard Pratt's day hospital program: What to expect

As the days grow longer and routines shift, our day hospital program provides consistent, weekday support in a healing group setting. Treatment takes place Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., allowing patients to return home each evening and remain connected to family and everyday life.

You’ll heal alongside others who understand what you’re experiencing—a safe, supportive community dedicated to growth, recovery, and renewed balance.

On average, people participate in our day hospital programming for 2 - 3 weeks. Before you go back to outpatient care for your mental health, our team will build a discharge plan to ensure you have the support you need to continue your journey to well-being.

Outcomes: helping people improve their mental health

After a course of treatment at the Sheppard Pratt day hospital, you can expect to experience reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety, gain the coping skills you need to thrive, and have a strong plan in place for protecting your mental health.

I had an incredible, life-changing experience at Sheppard Pratt. I felt at home, accepted, understood, safe, and cared about! I learned so much about myself, how to live healthy (mind and body), and how to cope. I now have a positive direction and outlook.
