Dr. Ikwunga Wonodi is the service chief of the general adult unit at Sheppard Pratt's hospital in Ellicott City. He completed his residency at University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt and a fellowship in schizophrenia research at the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC). He earned his MBBS at University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is board certified in general psychiatry. In addition to his work at Sheppard Pratt, Dr. Wonodi is an adjunct associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and leads collaborative outcomes-based research between Sheppard Pratt and MPRC. Dr. Wonodi is recipient of awards for clinical education, community service and activities to eliminate mental health disparities. He is an M.B.A. candidate at the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business.
