Dr. Hang Wang is an outpatient psychiatrist at Sheppard Pratt’s outpatient mental health center in Gaithersburg, Md. Prior to joining Sheppard Pratt, Dr. Wang served as an attending psychiatrist at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center. She also has experience as a research scientist at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences; the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute; and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
Dr. Wang completed her residency at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine/Chicago Medical School. She earned her MD and a PhD in Neurobiology at Shanxi Medical University in China. She is board certified in psychiatry.
