The Geriatric Unit at Sheppard Pratt’s Towson campus is a safe, secure, and welcoming 20-bed inpatient unit that is specially designed for the treatment of older adults with mental illnesses and dementia-related disorders.

During each individual’s stay, our treatment team of experts will focus on crisis stabilization, supporting the patient’s ability to return to their home community or to a less restrictive level of care that provides a safe supportive environment.
