Education and Training
One of our guiding principles at Sheppard Pratt Health System is learning, which is evident in our continuing education and training programs. We offer multiple opportunities for licensed professionals to receive CME/CEU credits through our professional seminars and workshops.
We also believe that one of our jobs, as a community resource, is to provide relevant and informative lectures on various current mental health topics, including suicide, gun violence, and autism. And, we partner with University of Maryland to offer a Psychiatry Residency Training Program committed to training future psychiatrists to be leaders within all aspects of the field. We also offer an intensive, one-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in The Trauma Disorders Program to train in the evaluation and treatment of patients with dissociative and post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD).
Locations
We provide a full range of treatment options in 38 locations throughout Maryland.
