The North Baltimore Center (NBC), an affiliate of Sheppard Pratt Health System, is a community based mental health program in operation since 1969. NBC takes a team approach to treatment, rehabilitation and service planning with the family/ caregiver and other providers serving as active team members.

Programs include:
• Homeless outreach
• Adult outpatient clinic
• Mobile treatment - adult and child
• Case management - adult and child
• School-based treatment
• Adult psychiatric rehabilitation
• Youth and young adult rehabilitation
• Chesapeake Connections - capitated wrap around services

Services Provided:
• Psychiatric assessment and diagnostic evaluation
• Individual, group and family therapy
• Rehabilitation services (on-site and in the community, residential rehabilitation)
• Community support services
• Intensive in-home services
• Dual diagnosis (substance abuse and mental illness) treatment
• Medical management
• Comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment approach
