The Forbush School at Glyndon is approved by the Maryland State
Department of Education as a Type I Special Education Nonpublic School to
provide educational and therapeutic services for children and adolescents
through 12th grade who have emotional and behavioral disabilities and autism.
Located for more than 40 years on Sheppard Pratt's campus
in Towson, the school relocated to a spacious campus in Glyndon in July 2009.
With resources to serve more than 160 students, The Forbush School at Glyndon
will continue its longstanding tradition of providing educational, vocational
and therapeutic services to students with complex needs from throughout Central
Maryland and beyond. The school operates 12 months of the year.

Curriculum
The curriculum is designed to facilitate the growth of each student in
cognitive and emotional areas. Each student follows an individually designed
program to meet his or her goals.
In the secondary programs, two curriculum tracks are available:

Directions:
Baltimore Beltway 695 to I-795 North towards Owings Mills/Reisterstown. Take
Exit 4 - Owings Mill Blvd North. Continue on Owings Mill Blvd.,(which becomes
Glynowings Dr., then Central Ave). Shortly after the Bond Ave. stop sign, make
a Right on Insulin Lane to the school campus
