Forbush School is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education as a
Type I General and Special Education Nonpublic School to provide educational
and therapeutic services for children and adolescents in pre-school through
12th grade. Located on the Towson campus of Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital,
it operates 12 months of the year.

Curriculum
The curriculum is designed to facilitate the growth of each student in
cognitive and emotional areas. Each student follows an individually designed
program to meet his or her goals.
In the secondary and/or Residential Programs, two curriculum tracks are
available:

• Industrial Arts

• Horticulture
• Building Trades
• Food Service

Directions:
Sheppard Pratt is inside the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695) off of Exit 25.
After you are on the ramp for Exit 25, follow the signs for Charles Street (Rt
139). Proceed south on Charles Street approximately 2 & 1/2 miles. You will
see a sign designating a left turn into the Sheppard Pratt campus. The Forbush
School is located on Gatehouse Drive on the left, just past the Conference
Center.
