Requires a BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or related field. 1-3 years related experience with federal and state entitlement programs, available work incentive and issues relating to employment of people with disabilities. Must have own vehicle; valid Maryland drivers license and car insurance with clean record. A vocational services background is preferred. | OCS Billing Specialist (PT – 24 hours) – position required to facilitate the effective and timely processing of NBC billing, encounter data and authorizations. This includes the retrieval, data entry and distribution of all APS and private insurance authorizations and fee for service compensation reporting.
At least one year of college preferred. One year experience with medical authorizations, registration and billing. Experience with Windows based spreadsheets, word processing and database programs. Must be organized and able to meet multiple deadlines and priorities. Must type 40-60 words per minute.
