Alliance, Inc.

Alliance provides community-based services to people living with mental illness and developmental disabilities, as well as veterans facing homelessness. Headquartered in Eastern Baltimore County, Maryland, Alliance was founded in 1983, and became an affiliate of Sheppard Pratt Health System in July 2012. Since its affiliation with us, Alliance has been instrumental in providing care to many of our patients once they have completed inpatient treatment and are in need of community-based assistance as they work to recover from mental health disorders.

Some of the community-based services offered through Alliance include:

  • Targeted case management to approximately 1,000 adults, adolescents, and children, as well as more than 400 veteran families in Baltimore, Harford, and Howard counties 
  • Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services in Harford County 
  • Behavioral health services to 2,500 people per year in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford County 
  • Vocational rehabilitation to 500 people with developmental disabilities annually 
  • Business services to provide jobs to approximately 300 individuals with significant disabilities

For the past 24 years, Alliance has been awarded the highest level of accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an unparalleled achievement in the state of Maryland. For more information on Alliance, please visit their website.
